Thank you so much for your interest in our clinic. Ever since taking a course in reproductive endocrinology in college, I have had a special intrigue in the role of sex hormones in mental and physical health. That, combined with my love of science and medicine, has led me to my niche as a psychiatrist in the field of reproductive mental health.

When I moved to Austin in 2014, I was discouraged by the lack of reproductive psychiatry services available. I have aimed to grow the knowledge of and interest in reproductive psychiatry in our state since then. The distinct nature of mental illness related to the reproductive life cycle is often overlooked - even in the area of psychiatry - however, its impact on the lives of people, their families and our community is immeasurable. I strive to understand the experiences and goals of each of my patients and to help them find relief from their symptoms. I believe the best way to help someone through that process is by supporting them in making informed decisions about their treatment.

As part of my passion for this subject, I would like to ask for you to please take a moment today to tell someone about reproductive mental health. The more we talk about it, the more awareness we bring to it, and the stronger we fight against its stigma.
