Pleased to meet you! My name is Danielle Jakob, and I’m proud to serve as the Patient Care Coordinator at Reproductive Psychiatry and Counseling (RPC). With over 15 years of experience in administration, I bring a deep passion for organization and teamwork to my role, making sure that everything runs smoothly for our patients and staff alike.

I originally hail from the vibrant borough of Queens, New York, and graduated from Hunter College in the city with a degree in Media Arts. After spending most of my life in the fast-paced world of New York, I made the big move to Austin, Texas, in 2014—and what an adventure it has been! One of the things I absolutely love about living in Austin is the mild weather, especially when compared to the chilly New York winters. While Austin’s "winters" only last about two weeks, those weeks have certainly been memorable, with some surprising cold snaps in recent years.

Outside of work, I’m a bit of a music and food enthusiast. I absolutely love going to concerts and exploring Austin’s dynamic restaurant scene. There’s nothing quite like discovering a new favorite dish or catching an incredible live performance in this city’s rich cultural landscape. A few years ago, I also began collecting vinyl records, which has become a bit of an obsession! End of an Ear is my go-to spot for adding new treasures to my growing collection, and it’s one of the best places to find rare and unique records here in town.

Though my background is in film and television, administration has always been where I truly shine. There’s something incredibly rewarding about coordinating with a team and ensuring that everything runs like clockwork. It’s a role that allows me to bring out the best in others while keeping things organized and efficient, which is something I take a lot of pride in. Being able to contribute to the important work we do at RPC is both fulfilling and inspiring, and I’m grateful to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate team.
