Being a born and raised Austinite with a successful career background in start-up operations, I found a home with Reproductive Psychiatry Clinic of Austin as their part-time Content Creator, bridging my love for psychiatry with my skills in business development. Easy job for me, I was honestly starstruck in my interviews having the privilege to meet this incredible team and become a part of their invaluable work.

Personally, what led me here was a part of finding my fire burning passion at twenty-six years old for humanitarian aid in hopes to one day work with Medecins San Frontier (Doctors Without Borders) as a Clinical Psychologist. Having now chosen one of those specific career paths that requires multiple degrees and dedicated hours of clinical field experience I wasted no time jumping headfirst into the myriad of the medical world hands on absorbing all I could.

I grew up, taking my first baby steps in an Al-anon meeting, with my older brother who has Down Syndrome and my mother who retired as a Special Needs teacher. The rest of my life I spent learning how to listen to the language that isn't spoken with words but observed and felt with the heart, which has enabled me to reach others in the depths they don't teach you about in universities or seminars.

While returning to school part-time to finish my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology which will be followed by my Master's of Social Work specialized in PTSD, I currently work on the clinical staff as a Medical Assistant at another integrative psychiatric behavioral health center in town.

In my work life balance, I spoil my two English Bulldogs, spend my social minutes with my friends and family, and enjoy weekend get-a-ways.
